MPI’s Pharmacy Accessory Label Printers quickly and efficiently prints accurate barcoded labels to affix on ampoules, vials, and syringes. The PALP is comprised of a desktop printer and MPI’s exclusive Pak-EDGE® UD Barcode Labeling Software, which are offered in two (2) different models to best meet the specific labeling needs of each facility:

Direct Thermal Label Printer (DTLP): Provides the capability to print six (6) different size white labels, including white, red, yellow, and orange flag labels.

Thermal Transfer Label Printer (TTLP): Provides the capability to print clear stem flag labels only. Two options are available.

Medication Barcoding and Labeling

The labels created by the Pharmacy Accessory Label Printer and Pak-EDGE® UD Barcode Labeling Software are capable of accommodating all linear, 2D, and GS1 barcodes. The software used to generate these barcodes was developed exclusively by MPI and is continually upgraded to include the latest advances in barcode technology for pharmaceutical packaging. The software allows for unlimited number of barcode configurations, which typically include product NDC code, local expiration date, and date packaged.
